Professionals in this field may work as freelancers or for companies, handling tasks like blog posts, articles, marketing copy, technical documentation, or academic content. The flexibility of remote work allows editors and writers to collaborate with clients and teams worldwide, often using digital tools for communication and project management.

No prior AI experience is required—your legal knowledge, analytical skills, and litigation experience are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review AI-generated legal content for factual accuracy, legal soundness, analytical rigor, and compliance with professional standards.

  • Provide clear, detailed written feedback identifying legal errors, logical inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Analyze complex or ambiguous legal scenarios and contribute expert judgment to improve AI model performance.

  • Draft, edit, and improve legal language and litigation-related content across a variety of practice areas.

  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback and maintaining high-quality written communication.

  • Ensure consistency, precision, and clarity in all legal analyses and written deliverables.

  • Ability to evaluate complex legal issues and ambiguous scenarios.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Excellent written communication and professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school.

  • Active license in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • 3–15 years of post-JD legal experience, preferably in litigation, trial, or appellate practice.

  • Judicial clerkship experience at the federal or state level is highly preferred.

  • Experience in legal writing, law journal editing, or published legal scholarship is a plus.

  • Trial experience, federal court admissions, or appellate practice background is highly desirable.

  • Teaching or instructional experience in legal education (adjunct professor, lecturer, fellow, or faculty) is an advantage.

  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts with clarity and professionalism.
