As a remote position, this role allows our counselors the flexibility to work from home while benefiting from a connected, collaborative virtual office environment. You will have access to robust administrative support, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional client care.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs using structured frameworks and evidence-based practices.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, tailoring approaches that address their unique circumstances and goals.
• Provide psychotherapy sessions in both individual and group settings, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records, documentation, and progress notes in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations.
• Engage in active collaboration and communication with other healthcare providers, social workers, and community resource representatives to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training opportunities to stay updated with best practices in the mental health field.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. You may encounter clients from various backgrounds, including children, families, and adolescents, requiring a flexible and adaptive approach to counseling.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of three years of direct experience providing mental health counseling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive and collaborative relationships.
• Capability to thrive in a remote work environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Experience working with specific populations, such as children or families, and specialized treatment for substance abuse or trauma recovery.
• Knowledge of telehealth technologies and their application in mental health counseling.

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
