Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health, considering their medical histories and presenting concerns.
• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans that address specific client needs, with an emphasis on evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate a variety of therapeutic interventions including one-on-one counseling, family therapy sessions, and group therapy focused on skill-building and peer support.
• Consistently monitor and document client progress, adjusting interventions and treatment plans as necessary to foster optimal outcomes.
• Deliver immediate crisis intervention as required, providing support during moments of acute distress.
• Ensure that all client records are meticulously kept in compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality laws, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, social workers, and community health professionals to provide holistic care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions and supervision, contributing to your growth as a therapist.
• Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by relevant licensing boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing varied mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The clinic's approach emphasizes a culturally sensitive understanding of each client's unique background, further enriching the therapeutic relationship and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is required.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities are essential.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy and an understanding of clients’ needs.
• The ability to function independently while also successfully collaborating within a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of laws and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the mental health counseling field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
