Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with assigned clients in both virtual settings and the wider community, addressing symptoms linked to major mental health conditions and emotional disorders.
• Implement evidence-based screening methods and conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs.
• Create and maintain integrated care plans, assuring timely access to linked services and seamless communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Provide an array of prevention, treatment, and recovery services, ensuring a focus on client empowerment through informed decision-making.
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts and deliver appropriate support as necessary, demonstrating swift response capabilities during critical situations.
• Maintain a manageable caseload that includes comprehensive assessments, individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family counseling.
• Regularly document client interactions, treatment progress, and discharge criteria, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and industry standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work directly impacts individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to severe mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. The clientele comprises diverse populations reflecting varying cultural backgrounds, belief systems, and interpersonal styles. Your role will also require sensitivity and adaptability to effectively engage with this rich tapestry of client histories and needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (required).
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated clinical experience in a mental health or community health setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic methodologies and approaches tailored to diverse client needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
