Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining a high standard of client care. Despite the remote setting, we emphasize collaboration among our multidisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals, administrative staff, and support services, to create a consistent and comprehensive treatment experience for our clients. As part of our outpatient office model, you will be equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, participating in case discussions to optimize client care and improve service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, staying informed of the latest research and treatment interventions in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families from various backgrounds who may struggle with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Your role is crucial in providing empathetic support and therapeutic strategies that empower clients to overcome their challenges and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, with no restrictions.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software and an ability to adapt to technology used in mental health service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, and addressing substance use issues is highly desirable.
• A deep understanding of legal and ethical standards related to clinical practice.
• Demonstrated ability to develop innovative treatment strategies tailored to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
