We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at the Family Wellness and Mental Health Hub. The Family Wellness and Mental Health Hub provides a supportive and cooperative remote working environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration among therapists. You will join a dedicated team of mental health professionals who prioritize continuous education and teamwork. Our flexible schedule allows for a healthy work-life balance, with regular work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, various treatment options, and essential self-care practices.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated care to clients.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities.
• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, combat stigma surrounding mental illness, and participate in community outreach initiatives.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You may also provide support to particularly vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your ability to connect and empathize with these distinct groups will be essential in facilitating meaningful therapeutic relationships.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to handle caseload and administrative tasks effectively.

• Experience working with clients suffering from mood disorders is preferred.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
• Continuing education or training in specific therapeutic approaches or addiction counseling may be beneficial.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
