Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to clients experiencing symptoms of mental illness or emotional disorders.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies to promote recovery and coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of services and communication among clients, families, and providers.
  • Monitor client progress and outcomes through regular assessment and documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and best practices.
  • Conduct brief screenings and coordinate in-depth evaluations for clients as needed and develop appropriate interventions to address identified needs.
  • Lead crisis intervention efforts, employing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support during critical situations.
  • Maintain an active caseload, conducting comprehensive client meetings, and ensuring timely completion of reports, assessments, and data submissions.
  • Participate in agency committees focused on quality improvement and service delivery enhancements, contributing to organizational growth and effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position centers on providing care to a diverse patient population, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will work with clients facing significant challenges, including but not limited to major depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and family conflicts. Your role will be crucial in building trust and rapport, ensuring that all clients receive the best care tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Georgia.
  • Expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, with demonstrated crisis management capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
