Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients, both in-office and out in the community, addressing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments, using evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual client needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on the unique challenges presented by each client’s circumstances.
• Implement integrated care pathways, coordinating services and ensuring that clients, their families, and other providers are aligned in the treatment process.
• Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary, with emphasis on empowerment and informed choice.
• Document clinical interactions and maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational protocols.
• Participate in crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating clarity and composure in high-pressure scenarios.
• Collaborate with team members to continually refine service delivery and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals facing significant mental health challenges in our community, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. Our focus is on addressing the barriers our clients face in accessing mental health care, and your efforts will directly impact the quality of life for these individuals. A strong commitment to understanding the cultural and socio-economic factors affecting our clients is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Proven expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies, particularly for vulnerable and diverse populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills, with a knack for multitasking and maintaining accurate records while adhering to deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with integrated care models and community health clinic operations.
• Experience in crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
• Previous work with diverse populations and an understanding of age-related or specialty issues in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
