    • Participate in incident reviews and help document outcomes, timelines, and next steps.
    • Learn basic infrastructure, cloud, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and automation concepts.
    • Perform low-risk technical tasks under supervision.
    • Help identify unclear processes, documentation gaps, or repetitive work that could be improved.
    • Gradually contribute to scripting, automation, and operational process improvements.

All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the Ametris core values, standards, policies, and procedures.
As an equal opportunity employer, all employment at Ametris is governed without regard to, nor influenced by, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

    • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
    • High reliability, ownership, and follow-through.
    • Ability to follow technical instructions carefully.
    • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
    • Comfort learning new tools, systems, and processes.
    • Ability to stay calm and organized when troubleshooting issues.
    • Curiosity about technology, systems, automation, and operations.
    • Willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and improve over time.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Ticketing systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar.
    • Basic command line usage.
    • Git or source control concepts.
    • Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
    • CI/CD or deployment pipelines.
    • YAML, JSON, PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other scripting basics.
    • Monitoring, logging, or alerting tools.
    • Technical support, IT operations, release support, infrastructure support, or help desk experience.
    • Process-driven work in operations, logistics, retail management, food service management, scheduling, or customer support.

Educational Requirements
Required:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field; or
  • Equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, military experience, and relevant work experience.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
