Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Remote Contract B2B Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of commercial accounts and drive timely collections of outstanding receivables. This role is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships while reducing delinquency and improving overall cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of business (B2B) accounts and oversee the full collections lifecycle
  • Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to secure payment on past-due invoices
  • Review aging reports to prioritize collection efforts and reduce outstanding balances
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues, discrepancies, short pays, and disputes
  • Negotiate payment plans and collaborate with clients to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity, account status, and payment commitments
  • Partner with internal teams (billing, sales, customer service) to resolve account issues
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate application of payments
  • Provide regular reporting on collections status, trends, and risks
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or B2B collections experience and comfortable working REMOTE
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, aging, and cash application
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet collection targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Pay Details: $26.00 to $31.00 per hour
