Position Overview:
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations, ensures accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and provides leadership to the accounting team, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This role supports monthโ€‘end and yearโ€‘end close processes, maintains internal controls, and collaborates with management to improve financial workflows and reporting quality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing training, performance feedback, and workload coordination
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP or applicable standards
  • Support monthโ€‘end and yearโ€‘end close, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are complete and accurate
  • Coordinate with auditors during external audits, preparing schedules and documentation
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve workflow, accuracy, and automation
  • Prepare adโ€‘hoc financial reports and analysis for management as needed

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3โ€“5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Oracle NetSuite preferred, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problemโ€‘solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
