Regional Human Resources Business Partner - Direct to Consumer (D2C)
Job Summary
The Regional Human Resources Business Partner - Direct to Consumer (D2C) serves as a strategic advisor to regional operations leadership within the D2C business segment. This role is responsible for driving people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce performance across a multi-site regional network supporting high-volume, customer-centric distribution operations.
This leader partners closely with operations and sales leadership to ensure talent strategies align with the fast-paced demands of the D2C business, while leading a team of HR professionals focused on strengthening engagement, retention, workforce planning, and leadership capability across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership - D2C Operations
• Partner with regional D2C operations and sales leaders to support business performance and service execution
• Act as a trusted advisor on workforce strategy, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness within high-volume distribution environments
• Align HR initiatives with the speed, scalability, and service expectations of the Direct-to-Consumer business model.
Talent Management & Leadership Development
• Lead execution of enterprise talent management processes including succession planning, talent reviews, and individual development planning
• Coach site leaders within the D2C network to build stronger leadership pipelines and improve performance outcomes
• Partner with Talent Acquisition COE to ensure effective hiring strategies that support rapid staffing needs and seasonal volume fluctuations typical of D2C operations.
HR Team Leadership
• Hire, lead, and develop a regional HR team supporting multiple D2C distribution and fulfillment sites
• Build a high-performance HR organization focused on responsiveness, consistency, and operational alignment
• Elevate HR capability through coaching, training, and performance management.
Employee Relations & Compliance
• Lead or oversee employee relations investigations in partnership with senior HR leadership and Legal
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws across D2C facilities
• Maintain consistent application of HR policies across all sites in a high-volume operational environment
Compensation & Total Rewards Alignment
• Partner with Total Rewards COE to ensure leaders understand and apply compensation philosophy effectively within D2C operations
• Support consistent pay practices across distribution centers while reinforcing pay-for-performance principles
• Provide guidance on compensation decisions tied to operational performance and market competitiveness.
Data, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
• Analyze key HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and labor trends within D2C operations
• Leverage data insights to identify workforce risks and recommend proactive solutions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across regional HR and operations processes.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated progressive HR experience in a business partner or HR leadership role
• Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations, preferably in distribution, logistics, or D2C environments
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
• Proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior operational leaders in a fast-paced D2C environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to operate in ambiguity
