Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the ITSM Business Analyst/Project Lead.
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders focusing on business process (re) definitions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions that detail pros, cons, and risks.
  • Document the results of business process reviews, and develop, and communicate optimization strategies to team members and management.
  • Capture use cases and collaborate with stakeholders (business and PST) to iteratively define user stories and priorities.
  • Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisions as well as translating functional business requirements to the development team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in iterative sprint planning and execution.
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ITSM functionality to support business area requirements.
  • Define milestones/schedules and manage delivery in accordance with stakeholder expectations/requirements.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Promote continual process improvement.

REQUIREMENTS: 

ServiceNow Skills shall include the following:

  • Expertise and proficiency in the Now Create methodology.
  • Expertise with applicable Now Platform components and ITSM functionality.
  • Expertise with the ServiceNow platform and how to effectively integrate ITSM functionality.

General Business Analyst Skills shall include the following:

  • Expertise with requirements definition to ensure stakeholder needs are captured and effectively communicated to developers/administrators.
  • Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
  • Forward-thinking analytical skills with the capability to identify downstream implications.
  • The ability to develop and forge strong relationships and build consensus among competing stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and facilitating business process review efforts, including evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and uncovering areas for improvement.
  • Exceptional project management and scheduling skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills
