Position: Business Analyst
Location: Salem, Oregon Primarily Remote with occasional onsite requirements
Contract Duration: September 7, 2026 March 8, 2027
Schedule: Tuesday Thursday
Hours: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM PST

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise modernization initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, program teams, technical teams, and vendors to gather and clarify requirements, document business processes, support solution assessment, and assist with testing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze business requirements through interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, business rules, process diagrams, and functional requirements.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation.
  • Prepare UAT test cases, participate in testing, document results, and communicate findings.
  • Support implementation activities and end-user adoption.
  • Develop end-user training materials and assist with train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Gather user feedback and identify workflow impacts.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to resolve requirements and delivery issues.
  • Perform other business analysis activities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization programs or enterprise initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security practices.
  • Strong project management, change management, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience conducting workshops and building stakeholder consensus.
