Technical Product Owner (Remote)

Our client is seeking an engaged and passionate Technical Product Owner. This role is responsible for leading the development of innovative, high‑impact products that make people's lives easier, more enjoyable, and more connected. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to exceptional consumer experiences, deep customer empathy, a bias for action, and the ability to execute effectively while maintaining a clear strategic vision.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Act as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritization of the product backlog
  • Work closely with stakeholders to plan, develop, and provide product and feature management, education, and roadmaps to promote and showcase organization's products and services and releases
  • Understand business and end-user needs; identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs
  • Set expectations with business stakeholders for the delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories
  • Analyze feedback from sprint reviews and other data such as end-user feedback and operational metrics to identify and understand product needs
  • Work with the development team to create acceptance criteria and definitions of failures and done
  • Assist the team in the development of feature tests, test cases, and regression tests
  • Plan, create, and document the product features, release schedules, development efforts, and product rollout
  • Create, modify, and own user stories and feature documentation; work directly and indirectly with customers and stakeholders to gather, define, write, and accept (user) stories ensuring the work life cycle meets the definition of done
  • Write, edit, prepare, and provide technical documentation and publish them appropriately to the Knowledge Base and related sites
  • Work with the support and test teams and the developers to identify, replicate, confirm and communicate bugs and implement recommendations of bug fixes to the developer team for remediation
  • Identify needs, gaps, or missing processes and workflows, either owning the creation and monitoring of processes or working with others in the company
Your strengths include:
  • Experience as an agile Product Owner/Manager and Business Analyst
  • Experience with B2B SaaS (mandatory)
  • Experience with AI/ML and APIs
  • Experience using systems like Figma to create clickable prototypes and basic working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • Product owner certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification) are a plus
  • Ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
  • A strong business mindset to analyze data points, assess an opportunity, make prioritization recommendations, and craft a well-thought-out strategy and execution plan
  • Can speak intelligently and build credibility with designers, cross-functional leadership, and engineers while always striving to learn or understand their domain
  • A self-starter attitude with proven ability to define an idea or goal and drive to completion no matter the obstacle
  • Robust and active listening, collaboration, and trust-building skills
