Body & Soul Quality Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. In your capacity as an LPC, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, fostering strong therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress and determine further treatment needs, as well as discussing stability and potential discharge.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and objectives.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress for compliance and tracking purposes.
• Carrying out comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and establish a baseline for treatment.
• Conducting individual therapy sessions to provide targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Engaging in individual supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to optimize client care and ensure coordinated treatment.
• Continuously embracing a growth mindset to enhance your effectiveness as a clinician.

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted LPC licensure, permitting independent practice in New Jersey.
• At least one year of post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and client management, including familiarity with RMS systems and spreadsheets.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, demonstrating skill in various therapeutic modalities.
• Comfort and competence in performing intake assessments and the use of standardized assessment tools.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are considered advantageous:

• Experience with specific populations such as adolescents, trauma survivors, or those with chronic mental health issues.
• Proficiency in teletherapy and the use of virtual counseling platforms.
• Participation in community outreach or education initiatives related to mental health awareness.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes:
