The role positions you in a unique remote work setting where collaboration is paramount. • Deliver clinically-focused services, assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients coping with severe emotional and mental health disorders both in the office and community settings.
• Develop integrated care plans by conducting thorough screenings and assessments, which may include arranging for additional evaluations as needed.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions that focus on empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their well-being.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical instances, ensuring the safety and security of clients.
• Monitor ongoing caseloads, ensuring that treatment plans are responsive to clients’ evolving needs.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure alignment on best practices, effectively advancing shared objectives.
• Complete and submit necessary documentation and reporting in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in committees focused on quality improvement and enhancement of agency service delivery.
• Be available for on-call coverage during and after program hours, addressing urgent client needs as they arise.

The LCSW will concentrate on supporting clients in a detox center who are confronting significant mental health challenges alongside substance use issues. This population often includes individuals from diverse backgrounds and with unique cultural perspectives, making cultural competence and empathy critical to successful treatment outcomes. By establishing trust and rapport, the LCSW plays a vital role in inspiring hope and facilitating recovery for each client.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and unrestricted LCSW license to practice in Connecticut.
• Strong expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions, alongside proficiency in crisis management.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the capability to maintain accurate client records.
• Cultural competency and the ability to work respectfully with diverse populations.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health services, ideally to underserved populations.
• Experience with integrated care approaches and familiarity with electronic health record systems is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for managing severe emotional disorders.

This role offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year.
