Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (Depending on experience) Plus OTE!
  • What does the commission and OTE structure look like? Sales commissions are based on the assigned territory and sales performance. Annual sales targets are typically $2 million and more, with commission rates ranging from 1.5% to 7% based on the percentage of target achieved. As a result, overall OTE varies depending on territory size and sales results.

Summary:

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Drive territory sales growth and achieve revenue targets for the biochemistry product portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical organizations, and industrial customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and technical information.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Attend scientific conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction, order fulfillment, and marketing initiatives.
Experience Youโ€™ll Need:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline is required.
  • Experience within the chemical, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
  • Proven customer-facing experience in scientific sales, business development, technical support, or account management.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
