Nurse Practitioner - Adult Telemedicine

3rd Shift

Shifts can vary: 7P-7A, 1A-7A, and could also accommodate 10P-7A

PHP Telehealth is currently recruitingNurse Practitionerwith a passion for delivering high quality, virtual care. This is a remote position, working part time from anywhere in the United States. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be part of an exciting new model of care utilizing innovative digital health technologies to achieve better outcomes.

The Nurse Practitioner provides an enriched level of medical care with a goal of increasing wellness, preventing illness, and improving outcomes through early detection, wellness visits, and timely diagnosis and/or treatment. The Nurse Practitioner utilizes innovative technologies to treat in place when clinically appropriate.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide remote care to patients from the comfort of their own residence/facility
  • Utilize advanced digital health technologies to diagnose and care for patients
  • Work closely with client staff to ensure proper care and handoffs are provided
  • Identify/anticipate key health issues for patients in multiple specialties like: Cardiology, medication management and reconciliation, Pulmonary and Diabetes.
  • Record visit information directly into client EMR systems
  • Provide remote employee health evaluations for minor ailments

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • All providers are required to obtain licensure in OH, IN, MD, VA, WV, and PA following being hired. Eventually, they will need a DEA in OH, IN, MD
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good technology aptitude
  • 3+ years of experience

PREFERRED

  • Primary care/internal medicine
  • ED or Urgent Care experience
  • SNF experience
  • Telehealth experience
  • License in OH, IN, MD and PA or a combination of the four
