Client Strategy Attorney

The Burnham Law Firm, P.C.

Denver, CO • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

Posted 11 days ago

Job description

We're hiring a Client Strategy Attorney to be the first lawyer a client talks to on the worst day of their life.

No billable hour requirement. No timesheet. You get paid to do the thing you actually went to law school for - sit with someone in trouble and help them understand where they stand.

This is the most consequential seat in the firm. People call us in crisis - divorce, custody, and other trauma - and the first conversation decides whether they get help or stay stuck. You'll listen, assess, and give them a straight answer. You are supported by a team and we expect a learning curve We've been there

Who We Are

Burnham Law is an elite Colorado- and Arizona-based firm representing clients in domestic relations, civil litigation, probate and estate planning, and criminal defense. We work hard, support each other, and win together. Excellence, accountability, and teamwork are not wall art here - they are how we staff cases.

What We Offer

  • $160,000, no billables.
  • Seven offices across Colorado and Prescott, Arizona.
  • 35 attorneys, civil and family law.
  • Team-based staffing - no one carries a case alone.
  • AI runs our back-end workflows so you spend your day with people, not paperwork.
  • A real path up: we promote from within, and we mean it. Our leadership came up through this firm.

Who We're Looking For

Energetic. Coachable. The kind of attorney who wants to be measurably better in December than they were in August, and who is building a career on a real foundation instead of chasing the next title. That is what we can offer - the reps, the team, and the foundation.

  • JD from an accredited law school and an active Colorado license in good standing.
  • 2+ years practicing. Domestic relations required; criminal defense is a major plus.
  • Sharp research and writing - sharper client instincts.
  • Comfortable in a courtroom, on a cold first call, and saying "let me get you an answer".
  • Westlaw, Filevine, and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable travel to courts and client meetings.

Where

Centennial · Colorado Springs · Fort Collins

Remote within Colorado, hybrid, or on-site - we place the right candidate where it works. Expect to be in the office as much as possible during your first 90 days for onboarding and team integration. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision - including one fully employer-paid medical plan and HSA access
  • Life, short- and long-term disability, accident, and critical illness coverage
  • Paid and unpaid time off, paid holidays, and firm-paid parental leave
  • Firm-paid CLE credits, Colorado Bar Association dues, and state registration dues
  • Quarterly luncheons, monthly lunch-and-learns, and an Employee Assistance Program
  • Flexible work arrangements, stocked snacks and beverages
  • Firm-branded gear - the good kind

Bring elite focus to every case, get better every single day, and build a career with a team that shows up for each other.
