Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and detailed evaluations of clients to establish personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions aimed at individuals, couples, families, and groups, aligning therapeutic approaches with each client’s unique circumstances.
• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to facilitate effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care and enhance treatment outcomes for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical records that reflect client progress while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with diverse clientele facing a variety of challenges including trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
