Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, promoting a healthy work-life balance that aligns with our organizational values. We understand the critical importance of personal well-being in effectively supporting our clients; thus, we encourage flexible scheduling options, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts within our operational hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Holistic Counseling & Wellness Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing their unique emotional and social needs.
• Conducting thorough interviews to gather and interpret crucial social, personal, and health information relevant to client assessments.
• Evaluating client needs and developing treatment plans tailored to address their specific challenges, including crisis situations and ongoing support.
• Coordinating and planning programs or activities to ensure comprehensive support that meets clients' social and emotional needs.
• Facilitating case management for cognitive, affective, and behavioral health issues, ensuring seamless referrals to local community resources when necessary.
• Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships founded on mutual respect, acceptance, and trust.
• Documenting clinical findings accurately and maintaining up-to-date client records in accordance with established protocols.
• Managing a designated caseload effectively while adhering to documentation and treatment service standards.
• Providing individual clinical counseling to help clients tackle specific challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and substance use disorders.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and engaging in team meetings to refine best practices in therapy and counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges including behavioral health issues, depression, mood disorders, substance dependence, and family-related concerns. Our approach emphasizes understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, fostering an environment where they feel valued and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
• Strong foundational knowledge of clinical assessment and treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following background will be highly regarded:

• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in therapeutic settings, particularly within mental health specialties.
• Prior experience dealing with behavioral health treatment including clinical counseling around mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, grief, and relationship challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials. Additionally, we provide an attractive benefits package which includes:
