Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions tailored to meet the unique mental health needs of clients undergoing substance abuse treatment.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client challenges and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities effectively suited for substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including educators, to develop coordinated care plans that address the comprehensive needs of each individual.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and substance abuse resources, promoting awareness and understanding.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and integrate new findings into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.
• Manage an active caseload, set appropriate treatment goals, and adjust plans as necessary to meet client progress while adhering to ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adolescents and young adults in a school environment who are grappling with substance use disorders and associated mental health conditions. Your clinical expertise will help guide these individuals along their recovery paths as you provide essential support during their formative years, fostering resilience and promoting positive behavioral changes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Demonstrated minimum of one year of clinical experience specifically focused on substance abuse therapy is essential.
• Expert knowledge of solution-focused interventions and evidence-based practices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are necessary to foster effective collaborations with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
