Job description

Job Summary:
Kaztronix LLC is seeking a Testing Data Analyst to perform advanced analysis of network traffic and troubleshoot related issues. The role involves configuring and deploying applications on Linux, developing automation scripts, and conducting performance testing.
Responsibilities:
• Advanced analysis of network traffic TCP/UDP frames using analysis tools such as Wireshark, airpcap ng and more.
• Troubleshooting Speed test related issues on gig bit speeds and higher on 10BaseT and NBaseT network configurations.
• Configure, test and deploy applications on Linux Operating systems.
• Develop, integrate, and test automation scripts for installation and deployment of the applications on Linux base OS.
• Develop, integrate and troubleshoot third party applications on different Linux OS.
• Troubleshoot any network/system/service related issues with involved testing teams.
• Test server application for remote and client speed test application in Lab environment.
• Test DNS, DHCP, static and dynamic address allocations with BHR devices.
• Develop test plans and user stories for Performance testing of the BHRs.
• Develop automated test scripts for performance testing of the BHRs in a singular and multi-node fashion.
• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful reports.
• Use data to create models that depict trends based on the devices/user generated data programmatically.
• Working with HDFS, Spark, Hive and Hue to collect and represent data.
• Knowledge of R, Python, RappidMinner and other programming languages for data analysis and visualization.
• Advance understanding of data normalization and representation.
• Understanding of computer architecture, networking and communication tools such as Broadband Home Routers, Set-Top boxes and WiFi AP/extenders.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 or more years of experience in Linux administration.
• Proven experience with In Home architecture including Wi-Fi technologies and performance measurements.
• Ability to work with Linux-friendly applications and able to troubleshoot it when issue arise.
• Able to script in shell as well as Python, Perl or ruby.
• Basic Networking Knowledge.
• Know how to setup, configure and use complex Linux servers and Linux base applications.
• Extensive experience of working on Linux/Unix systems.
