  • Provide educational resources and emotional support, helping clients and their families understand mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment updates adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage with psychiatrists and medical professionals to formulate integrated treatment approaches ensuring a comprehensive care framework.
  • Stay current with evolving practices in the field by participating in continuing education, research discussions, and professional development activities.
  • Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, contributing to destigmatization efforts and supporting community mental health initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are individuals grappling with a spectrum of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. With a broad demographic range that spans various cultural, socioeconomic, and age groups, the therapist will have the opportunity to work with and profoundly impact a diverse client base.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure is required as either an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a demonstrated ability to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Familiarity with psychopharmacology practices to facilitate informed collaboration with psychiatrists and medical teams.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
