Work Environment

In this fully remote setting, you will work from your home, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services. The Hospice Center where we collaborate largely facilitates the conceptual framework for our services, allowing us to provide quality mental health support integrated with end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals and groups, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving their goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on client assessments, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, to enhance holistic client outcomes and ensure integrated care approaches.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, utilizing our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in ongoing telehealth training to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in virtual mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and those navigating the complexities of life changes or end-of-life situations. Understanding and respecting the unique backgrounds and experiences of every client is paramount to providing effective care, and there will be a significant emphasis on culturally competent practices to ensure inclusivity.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work, particularly in mental health settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
• Commitment to ethical practice and culturally competent care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with clients in hospice or end-of-life care settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
