Calm Space Counseling Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a full-time, remote position based in Springfield, Massachusetts. Work Environment

In this fully remote role, you will enjoy the flexibility of performing your duties from your home office. Our team primarily serves clients in a hospice center setting, focusing on individuals and families coping with end-of-life issues, grief, and related challenges. The remote aspect of the job allows for a convenient work-life balance while contributing to creating a calming virtual space for healing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions for both individual and group clients using telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and private environment for disclosures.
• Design, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, adapting to their progress and circumstances.
• Collaborate with a remote team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and other social workers, to enhance client outcomes through interdisciplinary care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring all interactions are documented appropriately.
• Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss cases, share insights, and receive feedback aimed at continuous improvement of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is on compassionate care for clients facing terminal illnesses and their families. In this role, you will directly support individuals dealing with end-of-life issues, including emotional, psychological, and spiritual concerns. You will guide clients through complex emotions, helping them and their families cope with grief, acceptance, and preparation for transitions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license issued by the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in social work, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
• A strong commitment to ethical, culturally competent, and inclusive care practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy in a hospice or palliative care environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery methods.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
