Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is hiring a Build Lead ServiceNow Integration. This role will be remote, with first week onsite at the client's office.
Summary:
The Build Lead serves as the technical lead for ServiceNow delivery, owning solution design, development standards, and technical decision making across integrations, ITSM, and CMDB. This role goes beyond hands-on development by providing technical leadership, mentorship to junior developers, and oversight of quality and best practices, ensuring scalable, secure, and supportable ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CMDB, and integrations
* Serve as the technical owner for ServiceNow builds, ensuring alignment to platform best practices and architectural standards
* Configure and develop advanced workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI components
* Design, build, and optimize ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, MID Server, and data imports
* Define and maintain CMDB data models, CI relationships, governance rules, and automation strategies
* Partner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to Junior and Mid-level Developers, including code reviews and mentoring
* Support testing, deployment, defect resolution, and release activities across environments
* Ensure documentation of technical designs, configurations, and integration logic
* Identify risks, performance issues, and improvement opportunities proactively
REQUIREMENTS:
Certifications Required:
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
* ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM or CMDB
* 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with a focus on enterprise implementations
* Strong expertise in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge)
* Deep experience with CMDB development, CI relationships, normalization, and data quality controls
* Proven experience building and managing ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server)
* Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
* Experience leading or mentoring junior developers in a delivery team
* Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non technical stakeholders

* Certified Application Developer (CAD)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
