Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to effectively diagnose and develop tailored treatment plans for children and youth facing mental health challenges.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy across various settings including homes, schools, and through telehealth, adapting methodologies to meet clients' specific needs.
  • Act as the primary contact for service plans, delivering clear and concise communication to clients and their families, ensuring they are fully informed and involved in the treatment process.
  • Participate actively in crisis intervention, offering 24/7 support through a weekly on-call rotation to manage acute mental health situations effectively.
  • Work collaboratively as part of an intensive multi-disciplinary treatment team, contributing to case discussions, treatment strategy sessions, and shared decision-making processes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving youth and their families who are navigating serious mental health issues. You will engage with a diverse client base that often requires immediate support and long-term therapeutic care, utilizing an empathetic approach to facilitate trust and collaboration.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid state license as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
  • Strong advocacy skills and a solid understanding of mental health services and payment processes are essential.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards is required for roles that involve community visits.
  • Licensure or permit eligibility upon hire is acceptable.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis diffusion and management, with familiarity in dealing with acute mental health incidents.
  • Exposure to or training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy is advantageous.
  • Prior experience working with youth in community settings, home-based therapy, or school interactions is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
