Position Overview

Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic and diverse team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through initial consultations and ongoing evaluations.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that address the specific concerns of clients, considering their individual cultural backgrounds.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, and EMDR.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that focus on issues such as trauma, grief, interpersonal relationships, and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Actively engage in community outreach and promotional efforts to increase awareness of mental health services offered by the clinic.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the clinic to ensure integrated care and consider referrals when necessary.
  • Provide telehealth services in a secure and HIPAA-compliant environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist in this role will work primarily with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various ethnic backgrounds. Understanding and respecting cultural nuances is essential to effectively support our patients in their unique mental health needs. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and adjustment issues.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited program in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with a strong ability to provide therapy in both languages.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • Demonstrated respect for and sensitivity to cultural diversity in clients and their families.
  • Experience working with clients facing diverse challenges, utilizing effective intervention strategies.
  • Certification in at least one of the following therapies: CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
  • A demonstrated area of specialization, such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, or grief and loss.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office, and telehealth platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance.
  • Willingness to provide therapy during flexible hours, including at least two evenings per week and one weekend day.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health clinic setting is a strong plus.
  • Prior involvement with culturally diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of the challenges faced by the Latino community in mental health.
  • Comfort with teletherapy and technology in a clinical context.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a flexible work schedule, and opportunities for professional development and continued education.
