You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their challenges by offering both individual and group counseling sessions, as well as specialized Play Therapy for younger populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals, especially women and teens, who are either currently experiencing or have survived domestic violence. You will also provide specialized Play Therapy to children, utilizing creative and engaging methods to help them express their feelings and navigate their experiences. In this supportive capacity, you will advocate for clients' needs and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active LPCC license in good standing is essential for this position.
  • Experience with individual psychotherapy and family interventions is critical.
  • Availability to work late afternoon hours (at least two evenings per week, from 3-8 PM) is required, with preference given to candidates open to weekend work.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is necessary for any community-based activities or referrals.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience specifically in providing Play Therapy services will be an advantage, as we seek to expand our therapeutic offerings for children.

Compensation and Benefits
