Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will include a wide range of clinical responsibilities designed to promote client recovery and well-being:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and ongoing evaluations of client mental health needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans that resonate with each client's unique situation and aspirations.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities suited to each client's recovery goals.
• Guide clients in enhancing their coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Provide education about available community resources, advocating fiercely to connect clients to these vital services.
• Ensure continuity of care by assisting clients with aftercare planning and establishing follow-up protocols as necessary.

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions that affect their ability to maintain stability in their lives. Your approach will prioritize building trusting relationships and fostering resilience, ultimately empowering clients to achieve meaningful, positive changes.

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications to be considered:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state license, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• Ability to practice independently without supervision, displaying confidence in clinical decision-making.
• No prior disciplinary actions affecting the license.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

While not mandatory, the following experiences and skills will enhance your candidacy:

• Previous experience providing direct clinical services to diverse populations.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in delivering skill-building activities and tailoring interventions to individual client needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a background in facilitating group therapy or workshops.
• Experience in crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.
