Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through frequent in-person visits, site walkthroughs, and solution consultations.
  • Identify customer needs across residential, light commercial, food service, and light industrial environments and recommend appropriate filtration products.
  • Generate leads, follow up on referrals, and grow territory sales through consistent outreach and follow-through.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and track progress through CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Provide customers with accurate quotes, product information, and support throughout the purchasing process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams-including product development, customer service, and marketing-to support customers and expand market presence.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current water filtration technologies, product offerings, and installation applications.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer demos.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, and basic technical guidance to help customers understand product benefits.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and support sales activities.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or field service-preferably in water filtration or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of water filtration products, applications, and common customer challenges.
  • Comfortable working primarily in the field: customer sites, restaurants, small businesses, light industrial environments, and residential settings.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and dependable with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with OEMs, distributors, or water treatment dealers.
  • Experience in technical product demonstrations or field service is a strong plus.
  • Background in selling or supporting carbon filters, RO systems, softeners, or similar products.
