It’s never been a more exciting time to join Vistra.

At Vistra our purpose is progress. We believe that our clients have the power to change the world and to do great things for global progress, and we exist to remove the friction that comes from the complexity of global business – to help our clients achieve progress without friction.

But progress only happens when people come together and take action. And we’re absolutely committed to building a culture where our people can do just that.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Multi Country Payroll Business Development Manager, supporting our Multi Country Payroll business in the US. Reporting to the Executive Vice President Payroll, this full-time, permanent position offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our Payroll business and its growth. This is a remote role but needs to be based in the Boston, San Francisco or Miami areas.

Role Purpose

As the EMEA Marketing Manager you will lead the planning, development and execution of insight-driven, solutions-led marketing campaigns across the EMEA region for our fund and investment management solutions business. You’ll play a critical role in shaping and amplifying our external narrative, managing high-impact events and sponsorship activity, and strengthening engagement across our target audiences. The MCP US Business Development Manager is a high-energy, commercially-driven hunter who thrives on the chase. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value enterprise opportunities across Multi-Country Payroll (MCP) — building meaningful commercial relationships with HR, Finance, Payroll and C-suite decision-makers in multinational organisations. Operating as a critical revenue engine for Vistra, you will own your territory, build your pipeline from the ground up, and convert complex opportunities into long-term client partnerships. If you're tenacious, self-motivated, and energised by winning, this role is built for you.

Scope

You will own the complete acquisition cycle — from identifying and qualifying prospects through to commercial negotiation and contract close across mid-market and enterprise customer profiles.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new logo opportunities across target markets and industry verticals
  • Own the full sales cycle from first contact through to contract signature
  • Leverage digital channels, networking, partner ecosystems, events, and inbound leads to generate pipeline
  • Conduct compelling discovery sessions and solution presentations for C-suite and senior stakeholders
  • Partner with Pre-Sales, Legal, and Commercial teams to develop tailored proposals

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity records in CRM at all times
  • Build and sustain strong pipeline coverage ratios against your personal ACV target
  • Forecast accurately; flag risk early and communicate mitigation actions proactively
  • Apply rigorous qualification discipline consistently throughout the pipeline

Cross-Product & Portfolio Selling

  • Develop and close opportunities across the full iiPay / Vistra service portfolio (MCP and HR Advisory)
  • Act as a commercial bridge between product lines, identifying natural cross-sell triggers

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the global payroll, EOR, and HR Advisory competitive landscape
  • Track regulatory, macroeconomic, and technology trends influencing buyer behaviour
  • Provide structured market feedback to Product, Marketing, and Commercial leadership

Stakeholder & Collaboration

  • Work in close alignment with Sales Leadership to execute regional revenue plans
  • Collaborate with Marketing on demand-generation campaigns and event strategies
  • Represent iiPay / Vistra at industry conferences, client forums, and networking events
  • Support and mentor peer BDM team members; contribute to a high-performance team culture

Attributes/Technical Skills

Tenacious — You don't take "no" as final. You find another way in, another angle, another conversation. You persist where others give up.
Driven — You set ambitious personal targets above and beyond what's expected. You're motivated by results and energised by exceeding them.
Self-Starter — You don't need to be told what to do. You see the opportunity, build the plan, and execute — taking full ownership of your outcomes.

Resilient — You bounce back from setbacks quickly. The highs are high, and the lows don't keep you down for long.
Curious & Coachable — You're always learning, always adapting, and always looking for ways to sharpen your edge.
Collaborative — While you're a fierce individual competitor, you understand that winning as a team accelerates everyone's success.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the HRIS/HCM industry or global/multi-country payroll sector
  • Proven track record of selling complex B2B technology or managed services to enterprise clients
  • Demonstrated success in new logo / hunter-style sales roles, consistently achieving or exceeding ACV targets
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder, long sales-cycle deals (6+ months) with senior executive buyers
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and structured sales methodologies (Highly Desirable)
