This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While the primary setting is remote, regular communication and collaboration are facilitated through secure digital platforms to ensure comprehensive patient care. Team members may engage in video conferences, maintain digital care notes, and utilize electronic health records (EHR) to streamline their workflows.

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments that take into account each patient’s cultural context to craft personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions during individual, family, and group therapy sessions, with a focus on outcomes that promote resilience and overall well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer support professionals to coordinate care plans that address all aspects of mental health.
• Provide crisis intervention services by remaining calm and composed during urgent mental health situations, and develop safety plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and the community resources to support them effectively.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain records in accordance with legal standards, ensuring all information remains confidential.
• Engage in continuous learning by participating in case conferences, cultural competency training sessions, and other professional development activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and best practices in multicultural mental health therapy.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid professional license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado is essential.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, complemented by a commitment to cultural competence.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy in both individual and group settings with culturally responsive methods.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, along with the ability to navigate challenging emotional situations with sensitivity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for establishing rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Proficient in electronic health records systems and familiar with various computer applications to facilitate clinical documentation and coordination of care.
• Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a diverse multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting serving multicultural populations.
• Prior involvement with advocacy or outreach programs aimed at improving mental health awareness in diverse communities.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling strategies.
