Common challenges include coordinating with international clients and governmental agencies, staying updated on frequently changing immigration regulations, and managing secure digital document exchange. Effective time management, strong digital communication skills, and a proactive approach to ongoing training are key to overcoming these challenges and providing reliable service. Collaboration tools and regular virtual team check-ins can also help maintain workflow consistency and team cohesion.

Outstanding organizational skills, clear communication, and discretion with sensitive information are vital soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure accurate, timely visa processing and compliance with legal requirements, while maintaining client trust and confidentiality.

What is remote visa processing?

Remote visa processing refers to the process of applying for and obtaining a visa without needing to physically visit an embassy or consulate. This service allows applicants to submit their documents, complete interviews, and receive decisions online or through mail, making the process more convenient and accessible. Many countries now offer remote visa processing options to streamline international travel and work requirements. This approach is especially helpful for individuals residing far from consular offices or in situations where in-person visits are difficult.

Job description

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead a data migration initiative moving company files from on-premises network drives into Microsoft 365, specifically SharePoint Online and OneDrive. This is a foundational project with strong executive backing, setting the stage for broader adoption of AI tools like Microsoft Copilot across the organization. If you enjoy owning a project from planning through execution and know how to bridge technical teams with business stakeholders, this is worth a look.

As part of our process after applying, you may receive an invitation from our AI Recruiter Avery for a short conversation that lets you share more about your background beyond your resume. For questions, contact .

  • Job Type: Contract (3 months)
  • Location: Remote, West Coast (Southern California preferred)
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 70/hour W2 only
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role. No C2C

What You’ll Do:

  • Own end-to-end project management of a network-drive-to-Microsoft 365 migration, including planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Build and manage a project timeline targeting full completion within 6 months
  • Coordinate file migration into SharePoint Online and OneDrive in a way that supports downstream AI tool adoption
  • Manage licensing rollout planning, including provisioning across distributed and field-based user groups
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors

What Gets You the Job:

  • Proven experience managing cloud migration projects, ideally involving Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and/or OneDrive
  • Solid technical understanding of cloud infrastructure and data migration processes
  • Strong business-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives
  • Demonstrated project management skills across budget, timeline, and stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem strongly preferred
