Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive counseling services to clients with stable, low-acuity mental health concerns, facilitating sessions via video chat to promote emotional wellness.
  • Encourage clients to articulate their feelings, experiences, and mental health challenges in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Utilize active listening and observation techniques to identify clients’ mental health issues effectively.
  • Support clients in setting achievable goals, developing actionable plans, and fostering self-awareness.
  • Implement a solution-focused approach to therapy, emphasizing coping strategies and positive behavioral changes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals with lower acuity mental health needs, including stress management, anxiety, and adjustment issues. Clients are carefully screened to ensure they are stable and ready for therapeutic support, allowing for productive sessions that focus on growth and empowerment.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possess a full state licensure to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a pronounced empathetic nature and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficient in using technology, including virtual counseling platforms and documentation systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in telehealth or remote therapy is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
