Key Responsibilities

• Conduct counseling sessions with stable, low-acuity clients, guiding them through emotional challenges and mental health issues.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to express their feelings and experiences openly.
• Utilize conversations, observations, and standardized assessments to identify client needs and mental health issues.
• Assist clients in defining their personal goals, developing actionable plans, and gaining deeper insights into their mental and emotional health.
• Adopt a solution-focused therapeutic approach to empower clients in their journey towards well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients who are stable and present with low-acuity mental health conditions. By carefully assessing each client’s needs and preferences, you will tailor your counseling strategies to effectively assist them in achieving their personal goals, all while ensuring a safe and confidential therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid license to practice as a mental health counselor without supervision; acceptable licenses include: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions are permitted.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a supportive demeanor.
• Proficient with digital tools and platforms for therapy delivery.

Preferred Experience

While all candidates meeting the mandatory qualifications are encouraged to apply, we prefer applicants with previous experience in remote counseling and familiarity with telehealth platforms. Experience working with diverse populations and a background in preventative care approaches will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with the hours worked and the experience level of the candidate. Additional benefits include:
