Associate Graphic Designer 
Location: Houston, TX- Remote
Your Opportunity:

Creativity meets impact at Just Energy and we're looking for a Jr Graphic Designer to help bring our brands to life through meaningful, high-visibility work. In this role, you'll report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work together with the Senior Graphic Designer, gaining mentorship and hands-on experience across a wide range of creative projects. 

You'll support the creation of growth and communitydriven marketing campaigns for Just Energy brands including Amigo Energy, Tara Energy, HomeWater, and more. From performancefocused digital experiences to communitycentric storytelling, you'll help design work that connects, inspires, and drives results.  If you're highenergy, love creativity, enjoy sharing ideas, and thrive on developing fresh new concepts, this is the role for you.

Daily responsibilities include concepting, designing, and producing compelling, highquality web and print designs; collaborating closely with developers, marketing managers, and the creative team to bring ideas to life; and partnering with stakeholders to support and strategize new creative requests.

What You'll Do

  • Support the creation of growth and community campaigns across all brands.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to concept, design, and produce engaging digital and print assets.
  • Execute creative for landing pages, emails, and social media, with a strong mobilefirst mindset.
  • Assist with the design and production of print materials supporting promotional, brand, and community initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure creative is executed seamlessly and effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while incorporating feedback and revisions efficiently.
  • Help maintain strong visual consistency across brands, campaigns, and channels.
  • Bring forward new ideas, fresh perspectives, and creative concepts that support customer growth and community engagement.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • 2-5 years of professional graphic design experience. Agency background preferred. 
  • A well-rounded and quality portfolio of work that demonstrates a high level of design and creativity.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, and InDesign) and Canva.
  • Comprehensive and expert understanding of digital-based design discipline (websites, emails, landing pages, display/banner ads, social media).
  • Experience editing shortform video content and reels using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Canva, with a solid understanding of video editing fundamentals.
  • Basic knowledge of email design templates and understanding of CSS/HTML. 
  • Experience in illustration, animation, video editing a plus.
  • A positive, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a passion for learning and creativity.
