Job description

Court/Legal Thadou/Kuki Interpreter (Remote, Video Remote Interpreting) at Big Language Solutions
We are seeking an experienced Court/Legal Interpreter fluent in Thadou/Kuki for an upcoming deposition. This position will be conducted remotely via videoconference. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in legal terminology and able to accurately interpret for all parties involved in a formal legal setting.
Key Requirements:
  • Fluency in Thadou/Kuki and English (The LES is originally from Manipur but speaks Thadou/Kuki)
  • Proven experience in court/legal interpreting, particularly for depositions
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts
  • Ability to interpret in real-time, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the conversation
  • Available to work remotely via Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)
