Job description

Tower 33 VFX is looking for a reliable production assistant to join our team. The production assistant plays a key role in supporting Tower 33 VFX by providing both administrative and production assistance across all stages of the visual effects pipeline. This position demands strong communication skills, exceptional organization, and dependable follow-through to effectively meet the fast-paced and dynamic needs of VFX production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Producers, Coordinators, and Supervisors with day-to-day production tasks across multiple projects.
  • Track shot progress and maintain accurate data in ShotGrid (Flow Production Tracking).
  • Take detailed notes during dailies, client reviews, and production meetings; distribute notes promptly to relevant team members.
  • Help schedule and organize meetings, reviews, and daily sessions for artists and supervisors.
  • Monitor and update task lists, shot statuses, and asset deliveries to ensure deadlines are met.


Qualifications:

  • Must be New York Resident
  • Proficiency with ShotGrid/Flow
  • Strong understanding of the VFX production pipeline (asset, shot, and delivery workflows)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced production environment
