What is a Remote VDC Director?

A Remote VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Director is a senior professional who oversees the digital planning and coordination of construction projects from a remote location. They manage teams using BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools to ensure that virtual models accurately represent the project's physical and functional characteristics. This role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, and construction managers to streamline project workflows, detect clashes, and optimize construction processes.
