• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their needs and challenges.

• Set measurable therapeutic goals and consistently monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

This role primarily focuses on clients within the hospice setting, requiring sensitivity and a deep understanding of end-of-life issues, grief, and bereavement. You will work with individuals facing significant emotional distress, providing them with the support needed to navigate their situations effectively. • Current and valid LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker - Clinical) license in New York State.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Empathetic and non-judgmental attitude, ensuring a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective case management and client follow-up.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or hospice care setting.
• Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with digital platforms used for virtual counseling.
• Background in trauma-informed care and bereavement counseling.
