This position is designed to be completely remote, allowing you to maintain a flexible schedule that suits your lifestyle. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which offers a structured routine while providing the freedom to perform your duties in a comfortable setting. You will receive full administrative and clinical support, enabling you to focus primarily on patient care.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand each client’s unique needs and establish risk factors.
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that are tailored specifically for each client.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, and when appropriate, offer couples or family therapy, employing a client-centered approach.
• Deliver detailed documentation of services rendered, ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards.
• Engage in voluntary team meetings and peer consultation sessions for collaborative case reviews and shared learning experiences.
• Maintain compliance with all California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations, including ongoing continuing education requirements to enhance clinical skills.

Your caseload will consist of a diverse range of clients, enabling you to work with various demographics and address an array of issues, including trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. You will have the chance to apply your expertise in a setting that values cultural competence and inclusivity, where bilingual professionals are especially encouraged to apply, enriching client interactions and outcomes.

• A current, active LPCC license in the state of California.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices and diagnostic criteria, including proficiency with the DSM-5.
• Excellent communication skills combined with strong clinical judgment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations is highly valuable; bilingual candidates are preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining an integral part of a collaborative clinical team.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Experience working with specific therapeutic modalities or populations, such as adolescents or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and associated platforms.
