• Conduct in-depth psychological assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to address and manage various behavioral issues, allowing clients to achieve measurable progress.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients can share and heal.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and psychiatrists, to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Engage with families to strengthen their coping strategies and enhance their participation in the treatment process.
• Document all client interactions and progress in electronic health record systems in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to compliance regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices and innovative therapeutic methods to ensure the highest quality care for our clients.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing chronic illness, grief and loss, and various mental health challenges. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, requiring a sensitive and adaptable approach to therapy to ensure their unique needs are met. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate through their emotional and psychological struggles while tailoring interventions that consider their personal histories and cultural contexts.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active LCSW license issued by the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong understanding and experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines.

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and culturally responsive therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams of health care professionals.
• Capacity to communicate efficiently with clients and their families, adjusting language and methods to fit unique situations.
