ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoLead an underwriting team that supports key agency partnerships and drives consistent, high-quality portfolio performance.In this role, you'll partner with leadership and distribution to drive growth, maintain key relationships, and ensure consistent underwriting execution and performance.How You'll Make an Impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with key Retail agency partners to support submission activity and improve business mix
  • Support underwriting planning by working with leadership and communicating direction to the team
  • Handle higher-level referrals from underwriting supervisors and assist with complex accounts
  • Monitor submission and renewal volume, team productivity, and service level performance
  • Review workflows and assess staffing needs, including coordinating training for new and existing team members
  • Review quality control results to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Work with teams to ensure underwriting policies and procedures remain accurate and up to date
  • Participate in agency meetings, internal meetings, and industry events as needed
QualificationsWhat You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Professional insurance designations such as AU, API, CIC, or CPCU preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience
