Job description

Bay State Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Telehealth Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a fully-remote position for a Massachusetts-based Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive virtual physical therapy evaluations using evidence-based assessment, clinical reasoning, and outcome measures.

• Develop clinically sound plans of care and communicate findings clearly to patients.

• Document all evaluations accurately and within required timeframes in Raintree EMR.

• Document a communication note for any evaluation not completed within the specified timeframe, including all scheduling attempts made.

• Help determine whether a patient is best served by a home exercise program or should proceed to a full evaluation.

Requirements:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts.

• 3-plus years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.

• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection sufficient to support uninterrupted video-based patient care, along with a private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace.

• Strong technology proficiency, comfortable with EMRs (Raintree), telehealth platforms, and adopting new digital tools.

• Completion of Bay State Physical Therapy compliance training prior to patient care.

• Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical excellence in a virtual care setting.

• Prior telehealth or outpatient PT experience preferred but not required.
