This position offers a remote work setting, allowing therapists the flexibility to perform their duties from the comfort of their own homes. • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Employ a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients’ challenges.
• Provide education and support for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to clients.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mood disorder research to enhance therapeutic interventions and strategies.
• Ensure all client records are maintained accurately and confidentially, in strict compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional development to strengthen skills and teamwork.
• Advocate for clients’ needs and help reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues in the community.

As an LMFT at Empathetic Therapy Services, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your work will also extend to support vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your empathetic and supportive approach will be integral in helping these clients overcome their challenges and improve their quality of life.

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and trusting relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance therapeutic responsibilities and administrative tasks.

• Previous experience working with diverse populations and those facing mood disorders will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and experience in providing remote therapy sessions.
• Knowledge of community resources and mental health advocacy will be beneficial.

• The annual salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
