In this remote role, you will work primarily with clients within a detox center setting, assisting those who are in recovery from substance abuse and emotional distress. • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client situations, ensuring positive outcomes and progress.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with healthcare regulations, safeguarding client information.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic care.
• Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in social work and mental health care, integrating new knowledge into your practice.

This role primarily focuses on clients navigating recovery from substance use and associated mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will engage with diverse clients, adapting your approach to meet varying needs and circumstances, thereby making a profound difference in their recovery journey.

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practices.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Virginia, allowing for independent clinical practice and client management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information and navigate challenging conversations.
• A proven capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to shared objectives.

While the core qualifications are essential for this role, candidates with previous experience in a detox or rehabilitation setting, as well as those familiar with trauma-informed care methodologies, will be highly regarded.
