What we need

Exol is seeking a strategic and analytical Transportation Manager, Network Strategy to lead, design, optimize, and continuously improve our transportation network. This role will develop scalable network strategies, capacity plans, routing models, and transportation business cases that improve service, cost, capacity utilization, and overall network performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation planning, network design, supply chain strategy, and logistics analytics and the ability to partner cross-functionally to support network expansion, planning governance, and operational performance.

What you'll do

  • Network Strategy & Design: Develop and maintain transportation network strategies, optimize transportation flows, evaluate cross-dock footprint and service areas, and build routing and consolidation strategies to improve scalability and performance.
  • Capacity Planning: Create short- and long-term capacity plans, identify constraints, and model transportation scenarios to support growth and customer expansion.
  • Network Analytics: Analyze transportation costs, shipment flows, and performance trends; develop business cases and recommendations that support executive decision-making.
  • Planning Systems & Governance: Define and maintain transportation planning parameters within Manhattan Active TM, establish planning standards, and partner with IT and Continuous Improvement to enhance planning capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with transportation, supply chain, IT, continuous improvement, and operations teams to support scalable and efficient network performance.

What we need

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in transportation planning, network design, or supply chain strategy.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems, preferably Manhattan Active TM.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Experience designing and optimizing retail consolidation transportation networks.
  • Experience supporting supplier-to-retailer distribution networks, including cross-dock operations and final delivery to retailer distribution centers.
  • Experience with multi-origin, multi-stop transportation planning, freight consolidation, and load optimization.
  • Experience developing network optimization business cases, capacity models, and transportation cost analyses.
  • Experience in brokerage, managed transportation, retail transportation management, greenfield operations, or large-scale transportation transformations.

  • Up to25% of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
  • The employeeis responsible forowning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $95,000.00 - $130,900.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
