Job description

Position Summary:
Echoing Hills Village, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing transportation operations for the Dayton region, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations. This position will collaborate with various departments to provide transportation services for individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and maintain the upkeep of facility vehicles.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage transportation processes and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in transportation operations.
  • Foster a positive environment for individuals served.
  • Lead service efforts to increase reliability and reduce transit time.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and documentation.
  • Assist with compliance, regulatory audits, and safety measures.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL with passenger endorsement (Air brake endorsement preferred).
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to drive various vehicles and maintain an insurable driving record.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience in transporting individuals or groups preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and driving regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with individuals with IDD.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
